Travel Directions to
Northgate Ward Community Centre
Military Road, Canterbury CT1 1YX

Northgate Ward Community Centre Northgate Ward is to the north-east of Canterbury.

Travelling from Thanet along the A28 follow the A28 into Canterbury straight on at the roundabout with B&Q on your left. At the next roundabout take the feeder road to the left up to the next roundabout, turn left into Military Road towards the council offices.
A short distance from the roundabout turn left – again remaining in Military Road – and follow the road straight to its end in a cul-de-sac with the Community Centre facing you.

Travelling from other directions will need to follow the signs to Thanet, Margate, Ramsgate, Herne Bay etc using the ring road which turns into the A28.
After passing the old city wall next to the cathedral the road bears sharp right (into Military Road).
At the following large roundabout the A28 turns left. Instead of taking this road keep straight on following the signs to the council offices and courts into the continuation of Military Road.
A short distance from the roundabout turn left – again remaining in Military Road – and follow the road straight to its end in a cul-de-sac with the Community Centre facing you.

Note:
Car parking outside the hall is limited and you may need to find a spot in the local roads.

Map showing approach roads into Canterbury and general location of hall.

Map showing local road layout on the approach to the hall.
Note: A couple of points about the way the map shows the area. The red circle is adjacent to the hall, the Community Centre is actually facing you at the end of the cul-de-sac. Ignore the small arrow shown on the map at end of Military Road - just below Clement Close, it looks like a one-way symbol but road is not currently one way.
